Desert Hill’s rifle range provides a 200 yard range with fixed covered shooting positions. Targets are positioned at various distances on the range.

Desert Hills currently offers eight pistol bays. One bay is set up with target stands so shooters can get right to work. The other six bays are set up for general shooting, events, contracted services and classes. See the Range Safety Officer or Club Manager for more information.

The Sporting Clays course at Desert Hills is considered to be one of the finest in the country.

The 21-station course overlooks the Eldorado Valley and Boulder City providing a scenic setting for shooters enjoyment.

The course is designed to accommodate both the beginner and accomplished shooter. Stations are marked so shooters can easily designate which stations meet their skill level. The stations are reset periodically to keep the challenge fresh for all shooters.

Clay shooting instruction is provided by Level 2 instructor Neil Johnson and Level 1 instructor Theron Howard. Contact the club manager for details or contact them directly at the numbers below to schedule your appointments.

Desert Hills offers Trap and Skeet Shooters an overlay field adjacent to the clubhouse. In addition to our renowned sporting clays course we also offer trap and skeet field, a standard 5-stand and a FITASC 5-stand.
